4H enterprise training (in English)

Would you like to earn your own money and try entrepreneurship in a safe and supported way? In the 4H Enterprise Training, you will turn your own strengths and interests into a profitable business idea and gain the skills you need to start your own 4H business.

The training is free of charge, worth one study credit (1 credit), and intended for young people aged 13–28.

Location: Yli-Marola 4H City Farm, Neljänkaivonkatu 47, Lahti

Dates and times:

  • 5 November 2026, 5:00–7:00 PM

  • 6 November 2026, 5:00–7:00 PM

  • 7 November 2026, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

What will you gain from the training?

  • Learn to identify your strengths and turn them into a business idea

  • Learn how to plan profitable business activities

  • Gain the skills needed to start your own 4H business

  • Receive the 4H Entrepreneur’s Workbook to support your business planning

  • Receive a study-credit certificate, which is recorded in the Koski education register

Scope and implementation

  • 1 study credit (8 hours of instruction + approximately 24 hours of independent work)

  • The training may be organised as a one-day course or as several shorter sessions

Certificate and study credits

The study-credit certificate is issued by Opintokeskus Sivis. Registration takes place through the Sivisverkko service so that the study credits can be recorded in the Koski education register. The certificate can be useful when applying for jobs and when applying to upper secondary or higher education studies at a university of applied sciences.
